Julie founded Civic Communications in 1996 to assist projects and organizations create the positive public relationships they need to be successful. Her experience in land planning, infrastracture construction, and real estate development, enables her to understand the goals and issues for each of Civic Communication's clients. Her strong sense of civic responsiblity provides a foundation for each of the innovative and cost conscious communication strategies she develops. Julie is a University of Georgia Graduate with a BBA in Marketing. She is married to Bill Hussey and they have one son, William.

Leon Alston has been honing his community relations skills since he began his career touring on the mini golf circut over thirty years ago. His professionalism and customer service turn community concerns into relationship building opportunities. After living in Arizona for 20 years, Leon returned home to Charleston where he was born and raised.
